Baku – APA. On February 20, Azerbaijan’s First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva met Bulgarian Prime Minister Plamen Oresharski, who is on a visit to our country, APA reports.
They exchanged views on developing cultural ties between the countries, arranging mutual cultural days in Baku and Sofia, organizing modern art exhibitions in Bulgaria’s capital, establishing a friendship park in Sofia, organizing concerts of Bulgarian musicians at the Heydar Aliyev Center and ensuring the participation of the Bulgarian side at classic musical festivals organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
The sides underlined that the activity of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation is welcomed on the international level, the events held under the auspices of Mehriban Aliyeva, Chairperson of the Organizing Committee of Baku 2015 First European Games were appreciated.
