Margvelashvili was told that the plant stands alone in the Caucasus for its production capacity and technological parameters.
President was told that the plant is capable of processing 700 000 tonnes of fruit, making 210 000 tonnes of fruit juice.
It was noted that the working principle covers all processes from receiving raw materials up to the packing ready products. 350 people work at the plant, which produces 30 kinds of fruit juice, concentrate, nectar, tomato paste, jam, ice tea, 15 kinds of semi-finished products. The products are also exported to more than 30 countries. The plant, which was inaugurated with the participation of President Ilham Aliyev in 2007, produces about 100 kinds of packed products.
