Asked about the possibility of Azerbaijan’s admission to the Customs Union, Leonid Slutsky said it is up to the Azerbaijani leadership to choose European or Eurasian integration.
“Admission to the Customs Union depends on the decision that will be passed by President Ilham Aliyev. I am sure that the Azerbaijani leadership will pass a proper decision in choosing the integration bloc”.
Commenting on the situation regarding migrants in Russia, Slutsky said it is the most discussed issue in the post-Soviet area.
“We are carried out relevant activities together with Azerbaijan’s relevant bodies, parliamentarians, Azerbaijani embassy in Russia. We will act together to solve all issues,” he said.
