Ganja. Azer Mammadli – APA. “Azerbaijani citizens should avoid places where demonstrations are held in Ukraine,” said Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov at the press conference following the trilateral meeting of with Turkish and Georgian foreign ministers in Ganja, APA reports.
The Minister said that there is a strategic partnership between Ukraine and Azerbaijan: “Azerbaijan wants soonest restoration of stability in Ukraine. It will be good for both Ukraine and the region. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has already issued a statement that Azerbaijani citizens living in Ukraine, as well as tourists and those traveling there for business activities should avoid places where demonstrations are held.”
Mammadyarov said that Azerbaijan wants the Ukrainian authorities, opposition and all other parties to unite. He said what is happening in Ukraine is very unpleasant.
