Anakhanum Hidayatova – APA. “I believe that Azerbaijan is and will always be a safe place for the development of Italian business,” said Italian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Giampaolo Cutillo when asked about the possible impact of the tension on the contact line of the Azerbaijani and Armenian troops on the Italian businessmen in Azerbaijan.
The diplomat expressed his confidence that Azerbaijan remains committed to the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
“International community supports peaceful settlement of the conflict. This includes the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group, European Union and Italy. Italy is always ready to offer its assistance for a peaceful solution of the problem,” said the ambassador.
