"During Tajikistan's chairmanship of the Commonwealth of Independent States, it is planned to hold more than 100 events and take steps to adapt the activities of the CIS to current challenges," the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Tajikistan to Azerbaijan Ilhom Abdurahmon at a press conference dedicated to Tajikistan's chairmanship of the CIS in 2025, APA reports.
He added that the adoption of a resolution on cooperation between this organization and the CIS at the UN, as well as the development of a concept on the use of renewable energy sources, including household waste, among the CIS member states in 2024-2029, will continue.
