Washington to host annual Congress of Turkish-American Association

Washington. N. Kazimova – APA. The annual Congress of the Turkish-American Association will be held on March 12-13. APA’s Washington bureau reports that House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi, senators and congressmen of Arkansas, New York, Texas and Florida, representatives of the U.S. Department of State, head of Azerbaijani delegation to PACE Samad Seyidov, Azerbaijan's Ambassador to U.S. Elin Suleymanov, Ambassadors of Turkey and the Central Asian republics to the United States, many experts and officials will attend the Congress.

The issues on the Congress member states will be discussed at the Congress. Discussions of the issues related to Azerbaijan will be held within "Energy, trade relations and development" forum on March 13.

The Turkish-American Association reports that 60 U.S. congressmen and senators, members of Turkish Parliament, in general more than 700 people attended the Congress last year.
