Baku. Anakhanum Hidayatova – APA. The UK Embassy in Azerbaijan has warned its citizens against the unsanctioned rally in the Fountain Square tomorrow.
APA reports quoting the official website of the embassy that the UK nationals have been urged to avoid areas of demonstrations and exercise caution if traveling to that section of the city: “If you do find yourself in the vicinity we would encourage you to exercise caution”.
Note that, the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan has also warned its citizens in the same way. A group of young people protesting Jeyhun Gubadov’s death posted a message on social networks on holding a peaceful rally in the Fountain Square at 16:00 tomorrow. Interior Ministry stated that any unsanctioned rally will be prevented.
