Turkic speaking statesâ€™ foreign ministers meet in Cairo within OIC summit

The Foreign Ministry’s press service told APA that at the meeting, Secretary General of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States Halil Akinci spoke about the issues included in organization’s agenda. He informed about organization’s works done to get observer status in several international organizations, the planned meeting of member states’ transport and economy ministers and the meeting of the Turkic speaking states’ diaspora organizations in Baku. The ministers agreed to implement joint social projects for strengthening the organization’s activity in the regional countries, especially in Afghanistan.

Mammadyarov held one-on-one meetings with his Pakistani and Kirgiz counterparts. They discussed bilateral relations and cooperation within international organizations.
