Baku. Anakhanum Hidayatova – APA. “If Ankara continues to delay the ratification of the protocols, Yerevan will withdraw from the documents signed with Turkey,” said Armenia’s president Serzh Sargsyan in his interview with “The Voice of Russia”.
According to him, if Turkey doesn’t ratify the documents, Armenia can remove the issue on the ratification from the agenda and consider its signature invalid: “If it happens and official Ankara wants to these agreements again, new talks will be conducted, the terms will also be new.”
Sargsyan said that he was in favor of Armenia-Turkey agreements on the establishment of diplomatic relations signed in 2009.
The protocols signed in Zurich have not been approved by the parliaments of the two countries yet.
