The ambassador noted that Azerbaijan and Serbia support each other in the international arena: “The two countries’ principal position remains unchanged in respect to the rule of international law such as territorial integrity and sovereignty. The legal base of Azerbaijan-Serbia relations contains 21 international agreements. Two new documents - agreements on economic and technological cooperation and allocation of €308 mln by Azerbaijan to the Serbian government for the construction of “11th corridor” of League Prelin highway were also included in the legal base last year. Currently, the law-enforcement bodies are actively working on the projects on cooperation in the spheres science and technology.
Zoran Vajović said that trade turnover between the states increased and made $35 mln last year.
