Samad Seyidov: â€œNATO is an important organization for Azerbaijanâ€

Baku. Malahat Najafova – APA. “NATO and Azerbaijan have cooperation ties. Mutual frequent visits in the recent years have enhanced these ties,” said ambassador of Romania to Azerbaijan, NATO resident coordinator Daniel Christian Ciobanu at the training on “Environmental security and man-made and natural disasters in Azerbaijan: exchange of international experience” in Baku, APA reports.

Chairman of the International and Interparliamentary relations Committee of Azerbaijani parliament, rector of the Azerbaijan University of Languages Samad Seyidov said that NATO was an important organization for Azerbaijan.

Rector of the State Management Academy under the President of Azerbaijan Urkhan Alakbarov said that the environment meant natural and ecological environment, but it must be approached from the broad aspect: “If we want to protect nature, prevent environmental threats, we must also pay attention to natural, economic, sociological and political components managing them.”

Following this, the event was continued by the session’s speeches. The training will last for two days.
