Expressing his views on the presidential elections to be held in our country next year, the ambassador said that it was early to speak about the pre-election situation: “But the EU would like to see of course political pluralism, opening of the political space, we would like to see as many good candidates as possible and the best will win. I think President Ilham Aliyev will stand very good chances because he is much known, he has done a good job, but it is very important for the image of the country that you have very open space for the elections.”
