Brussels to host 13th meeting of EU-Azerbaijan Cooperation Council on December 17

APA reports quoting the EU press service that the sides will discuss various directions of the Azerbaijan-EU cooperation, including the cooperation within the “European Neighborhood Policy” and “Eastern Partnership” program.

Štefan Füle, European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy will also attend the meeting. The delegation of Azerbaijan will be led by Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov.

The meeting of the EU-Azerbaijan Cooperation Council is held in Brussels once a year. The 12th meeting of the Council was held in November last year.

The meeting of the EU-Armenia Cooperation Council will be held on December 17, the meeting of the EU-Georgia Cooperation Council will be held on December 18. At the meeting of the EU-Armenia Cooperation Council the sides will sign a protocol to the agreement on cooperation and partnership regarding Armenia’s participation in the EU programs.
