I am not referring to the Palestinian people, the main problem is HAMAS. All know that HAMAS and Hezbollah take into account the interests of Iran, not of Arabs. The relations with Israel became tense due to the provocations of Iran,”chairman of the United Azerbaijan Popular Front Party, Azerbaijani MP Gudrat Hasanguliyev said in his interview to APA. He said the leaders in Egypt and Turkey make speeches not rated for ordinary people. “These persons say “HAMAS, Hezbollah, you are right, Israe is the killer of children.” With this they consider their mission completed. Fearing Israel they do not help Palestine. In order to rescue the Palestinian people from HAMAS and Hezbolah, Israel and the world community should support the formation of normal government there. These forces are very dangerous for their people. They do not protect the interests of their people, but the interests of Iran financing them. I think Azerbaijan should enhance cooperationwith Israel, purchase modern weapons from Israel, improve military cooperation. We should stand by Arabs, our Muslim brothers and sisters, not by HAMAS,” he said.
Speaking about the Russian factor in Azerbaijani policy, Hasanguliyev considers that Russia’s person can be among the candidates in the forthcoming presidential elections: “Because Russia’s assurance has already increased after the happenings in Ukraine and Georgia. But, Azerbaijan is not similar with these countries and can not be compared with them. These options are not available here.”
According to him, Russia can attempt to create ethic conflicts for violating the stability in Azerbaijan. It will hope to get support from the persons, like Rustam Ibrahimbeyov, including political organization close to them. Azerbaijan is not the country that existed 19 years ago. Both the authorities and opposition in Azerbaijan have learned something from the history of the country.
