Azerbaijani Parliament approves agreement on “Financial rules of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States”

Baku – APA. Azerbaijani Parliament has today discussed the draft law on the approval of the agreement on the “Financial rules of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (CCTS)”.

 

MP Isa Habibbeyli has offered the use of “turk” term instead of “turkic speaking”, APA reports.

 

He said this institution can be also called Turkish Council. He offered some relevant changes on the name of Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking countries.

 

Speaker Ogtay Asadov said other countries may enter in the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking countries in future: “Therefore the name of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking countries is more acceptable.
