Baku – APA. Azerbaijan’s Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel General Kemaleddin Heydarov received the delegation led by Deputy Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Jawed Ludin on February 8. APA reports quoting the Ministry’s website that at the meeting, the Minister gave detailed information about the work done in the management of emergency situations and activity of the ministry’s structures.
They exchanged views on holding joint trainings with the government agencies responsible for the management of emergency situations in Afghanistan, the prospects for education at the Academy of Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations with the view of improving knowledge and skills of the employees of the abovementioned government agencies in warning and preventing emergency situations and eliminating their consequences.
The guest highly estimated Azerbaijan’s assistances to Afghanistan and underlined wide opportunities for cooperation between the corresponding organizations.
