Baku. Shahriyar Alizadeh – APA. Chairman of the public union "For Human Rights" human rights activist Eynulla Fatullayev has written a letter to Federal Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel. Fatullayev told APA about it. The letter says that the international research group consisting of analysts, human rights activists, experts and journalists visited different cities of Germany on the initiative of the public union "For Human Rights" to become familiar with real conditions of human rights, democracy and multiculturalism in Germany: “The group members conducted a large-scale research during two-week monitoring on the multiculturalism crisis and decline of ethnic –religious tolerance. We met with officials during the mission. The results of our months-long studies are reflected in the analytical report entitled “On the Crisis of Liberal Values and Multiculturalism in Europe” (www.thedecline.info).

The presentation ceremony of the report was held at the Media House Europe on January 21, 2013. But I am very much disappointed that I met serious resistance of the German embassy in Azerbaijan. Three weeks before the presentation ceremony, the representative of the German embassy Frederick Hanke invited me to the embassy and asked to submit to the embassy the list of the participants and speakers, agenda of the event. He tried to persuade me to give up the idea of presenting the report criticizing the violation of human rights in Germany. I sincerely hope that German federal government will take measures regarding the above-mentioned facts.
