Azerbaijani Foreign Minister receives newly-appointed Tajik ambassador to Azerbaijan - <span style="color: red;">PHOTO

Baku – APA. Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has received the newly-appointed Tajik ambassador to Azerbaijan Zohir Saidov.

Press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told APA that presenting the copy of his credentials to the Minister the Ambassador expressed his satisfaction with the appointment to Azerbaijan and noted that he would work diligently for the further development of relations between the two countries.

Mammadyarov underlined the high level of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan and expressed his satisfaction with the current situation of the cooperation.

The importance of the development of economic relations between the two countries was noted and issues of mutual interest were discussed at the meeting.

The Minister congratulated the Ambassador on the new appointment, and wished him success in his future endeavors.
