Baku – APA. As a result of the efforts of Azerbaijani Embassy in the Republic of South Africa, Azerbaijani flag has been raised in Cape Point (about 1.2 kilometers east of the Cape of Good Hope) which is one of the most important places for tourism of Cape Town, as well as Republic of South Africa. The Embassy told APA that flags of many countries are being hoisted at the entrance square of the abovementioned place visited by many tourists and local people within a day and Azerbaijani flag has also been raised at that square. From the South Caucasus countries only Azerbaijan’s flag has been hoisted at the site.
As there is little space in the square, flags are changed every day and Azerbaijani flag will be hoisted one day a week.
