The ministry’s press service told APA that the Azerbaijani delegation was led by Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov and the Turkish delegation by Deputy Foreign Minister Fatih Ceylan.
The current situation of the relations between the two countries in all spheres and tasks set for implementation of the issues required by the clauses of the documents signed within the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council, as well as common mechanism for joint activity of Diaspora organizations were discussed at the meeting. The sides expressed satisfaction with the level of bilateral relations and touched on the ways to realize them dynamically.
Khalaf Khalafov and his Turkish counterpart exchanged views on the energy and transport projects implemented on the initiative and with the participation of Azerbaijan in the region. Khalaf Khalafov noted that Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict was the main obstacle for ensuring stability and sustainable development of the region. The sides also exchanged views on the regional and international issues of mutual interest.
