Azerbaijani ambassador to Pakistan meets with speaker of National Assembly

Baku – APA. Azerbaijani ambassador to Pakistan has met with speaker of Pakistan’s National Assembly Faisal Karim Kundi. The embassy told APA that the ambassador spoke about the Azerbaijan-Pakistan relations and thanked Islamabad for their support to our country in the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict and recognition of Armenia as an invader country. The diplomat also regarded the adoption by the Pakistani Senate on February, 2012, of the draft law on the recognition of Khojaly genocide and support of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan as Pakistan’s commitment to the international norms and fraternal relations to Azerbaijan.

Speaker of Pakistan’s National Assembly Faisal Karim Kundi also noted that his country fully supported Azerbaijan in the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict. He announced that no relations would be established with Armenia unless the Azerbaijani territories were liberated, recognition of Armenia as a state by Pakistan could be possible only after the liberation of the Azerbaijani territories.
