Baku-APA. Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev sent a letter of congratulations to the newly elected President of the Swiss Confederation Ueli Maurer, APA reports. The letter says:
"Dear Mr. Maurer,
I sincerely congratulate you on being elected as President of the Swiss Confederation.
I pay big attention to the Azerbaijani-Swiss relations. I am confident that the ties of friendship and cooperation uniting our countries will continue to strengthen and develop in the interests of our peoples. I wish you good health, happiness and every success in your future activities for the benefit of the friendly people of Switzerland."
