Baku. Anakhanim Hidayetova – APA. “The Strategic relations between Azerbaijan and Indonesia are of great importance. Indonesia is supporting the position of Azerbaijan in all major forums. Our relations are being developed in economic, political, cultural and educational fields”, said the chairman of the Indonesian Regional Representatives Council Irman Gusman, APA reports.
Noting that Indonesia is the leading exporter of oil, the chairman said Azerbaijan-Indonesia oil refinery would be built in Indonesia: “Such a plant is being built in Turkey by Azerbaijan and Turkey. The next plant will be built in Indonesia.”
Gusman said that the Azerbaijani government suggested establishing the Azerbaijan-Indonesia Forum for the development of the relations between the two countries: “We will carry out necessary activities for the realization of the suggestion. Forum will support the development of relations in all spheres and have a positive impact on development of economy, culture and sports."
