Armenian representatives refuse to attend Euronest Parliamentary Assemblyâ€™s meeting in Baku

The Armenian delegation refused to attend the meeting of the Euronest PA Energy Security Committee in Baku on February 11-13, chairman of Azerbaijani delegation to the Euronest PA, MP Elkhan Suleymanov told APA. He said the Azerbaijani side guarantees the safety of the Armenian delegation: “We appealed to the co-chairs of the Euronest PA in this regard and declared that we are ready to receive Armenians, fully guarantee their safety and we would be glad to see Armenians in Baku. The head of the Armenian delegation Artak Zakaryan appealed to co-chairs of the Euronest PA Kristian Vigenin and Borys Tarasyuk and said that they would be unable to attend the meeting in Baku due to upcoming presidential elections in their country and tight work schedule.”
