Vice-president of PA BSEC: â€œNot the invitation letter to Armenia was lost, but this country lost its headâ€

Pervin Abbasov – APA. “Armenia was invited, but they did not participate in the event,” vice-president of the Parliamentary Assembly of Black Sea Economic Coorperation (PA BSEC) Asef Hajiyev said while expressing his attitude towards the absence of the Armenian delegation from the 40th General Parliamentary Assembly held in Baku, APA reports.

Asef Hajiyev said he felt regret over the statement of the Armenian Parliament speaker that he was not invited to the event in Baku: “We sent an invitation in the same way as Azerbaijan got an invitation to the 39th Assembly of the organization held in Yerevan. I took part in that event. And how could it be possible that the letter is lost. I think that letter is not lost just that country has lost its head.
