Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan have gained a reliable friend in each other, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov said during the third meeting of the Interstate Council of Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan in the city of Cholpon-Ata, APA's correspondent on assignment in Kyrgyzstan reports.

"Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan have gained a reliable friend in each other. Your visit once again confirms that Kyrgyz-Azerbaijani relations are of a special nature. We are entering a new stage in the development of bilateral cooperation, which is built on a solid foundation of friendship and mutual respect. There are no unresolved issues between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan that could hinder the development of our strategic partnership."

"On the contrary, an atmosphere of complete trust and openness has been formed between our countries, which allows us to move forward with confidence. It is in such conditions that important principles and initiatives emerge, decisions are made that determine the future of bilateral cooperation. It is especially gratifying that all the agreements reached are based on the desire for joint development and achieving common goals," the President of Kyrgyzstan noted.
