Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan are united by common historical roots, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov said during the third meeting of the Interstate Council of Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan in the city of Cholpon-Ata, APA's correspondent on assignment in Kyrgyzstan reports.

"Under your leadership, Azerbaijan is developing confidently, strengthening its positions in the international arena, and playing an important role in ensuring peace and stability. Today, your country is demonstrating impressive results, consistently implementing large-scale reforms, and resolutely defending its national interests."
