Ambassador Tahir Tagizade presents copy of his credentials to Czech Foreign Ministry diplomatic protocol chief

Azerbaijani Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Czechia Tahir Tagizade presented copy of his credentials to chief of Czechia Foreign Ministry diplomatic protocol, Ambassador Irji Shitler Azerbaijanis Foreign Ministryâ€™s press service told APA. Speaking about historical, political and geographical similarities between Czechia and Azerbaijan Tahir Tagizade underlined that Azerbaijan is ready to expand the relations with Czechia. The ambassador expressed his confidence that the newly-established Azerbaijani embassy in Czechia will play an important role in this direction. Mr.Tagizade stressed the possibility of Czechiaâ€™s establishing diplomatic office in Azerbaijan.
Ambassador Shitler underlined the necessity of improving the relations between Azerbaijan and Czechia. He noted that the President will possibly receive Azerbaijani Ambassadorâ€™s credentials on September 25. Tahir Tagizade is expected to have 20-minute one-on-one meeting with President Vatslav Klaus while presenting this credentials.
According to the rules of Czechiaâ€™s protocol, the meeting with foreign minister will take place a few days after presenting credentials to the President.
Azerbaijani Embassy is the 83rd diplomatic mission accredited in Prague. Armeniaâ€™s representative at the embassy in Vienna doubles for Czechia. /APA/
