Azerbaijani vice-consul to Los Angeles meets Boeing officials

Vice-councilor of Azerbaijan to Los Angeles Elman Abdullayev visited Washington on July 1-3, APAâ€™s US bureau reports. The diplomat had meetings with vice-president of Boeing company, regional director of BP for Washington, director of Seattle International Affairs Center Ian Moncaster, representatives of Ahiska Turks in Seattle.
Improving relations with Washington one of the important states was in the focus of attention during the meetings.
They also debated on improving interparliamentary relations with Washington, economic-trade and cultural relations between Azerbaijan and Washington. This is the third visit of the consulate representatives to Washington.
The relations between Washington and Azerbaijan are developing dynamically after Azerbaijani Consul General Elin Suleymanov became honorary citizen of the state.
Washington administration and legislative body attaches great importance to the cooperation with Azerbaijan.
Washington situated in the north-west of the US has about 6 million population and big transnational industrial companies are situated here. /APA/
