Dagestan Azerbaijan State Drama Theatre director: We would like our actors to be awarded honorary titles

Meeting was held with the collective of Dagestan Azerbaijan State Drama Theatre in Theatre Figures Union today, APA reports.
The director of the theatre Shablar Khaligov addressing the meeting said that they performed Tamara Valiyevaâ€™s â€œBankir adakhliâ€ play in the framework of the visit.
He stated that Lalazar Huseynova, Yagut Dashdemirova and Aliyer Huseynov performed the main played the leading parts. The chief of the theatre complained on not giving the actors honorary titles.
â€œMajority of our actors are Dagestanâ€™s people and honoured artists. We would like our actors to be awarded honorary name of Azerbaijan Republic,â€ he said.
Khaligov saying that the theater has been established in 1904, underlined that 100th jubilee of the theatre will be marked in high level soon.
â€œOur condition there is good. Our salary is also normal. If we have been invited again, we will perform in Baku with pleasure,â€ he said.
Theatre Figures Union Deputy Chief Rafig Aliyev addressing the event stressed that he will carry out his obligations for the solution of this problem. /APA/
