Azerbaijanâ€™s ruling party: To fulfill its mission, the Minsk Group shouldnâ€™t be content with the statements only

The most important thing for us is that they seriously approach this solution and the conflict is solved fairly. There are some objective points in the latest report, but along with that there are some causes, which donâ€™t describe the Azerbaijanâ€™s position and generally, the real parameters of the process. Azerbaijani people intend to see the painful results of the conflict to be eliminatedâ€, Deputy Chairman and Executive Secretary of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) Ali Ahmadov told journalists, speaking about the OSCE Field Assessment Missionâ€™s report.

According to APA, Ahmadov said that if such investigation commissions and monitoring groups contribute to the prolongation of the conflict solution, it will be unpleasant case. â€œWe are against such unpleasant cases. We intend to solve the conflict in a short time. The OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs make the statements for almost 20 years. Their statements are important, but there is such opinion among the Azerbaijani society that the co-chairs are like tourists. They make tours on the region and then issue statement finalizing their work with that. To fulfill its mission, the Minsk Group shouldnâ€™t be content with the statements, but should reach fulfillment of these statementsâ€.
