Ali Ahmadov: â€œWe would like the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs to change the image of â€œtouristâ€ formed in the Azerbaijani society about themâ€

Ahmadov said the co-chairs must increase their efforts to fulfill their duties: â€œThe OSCE Minsk Group is working for almost 20 years, but it couldnâ€™t achieve the solution to the conflict through the negotiations. We would like the Minsk Group co-chairs to change the image of â€œtouristâ€ formed in the Azerbaijani society about themâ€.

Regarding the OSCE assessment missionâ€™s report submitted by the co-chairs to the sides, Ahmadov said all missions had to reflect the real facts. The reality is that the Azerbaijani lands have been occupied, one million people have been expelled from their homeland and Armenia doesnâ€™t stop its aggression. â€œIt must lead to the acceleration of the conflict settlement and liberation of the lands from the occupation by investigating these issues and finding facts. Our position is that such missions must lead to soonest solution to the conflictâ€, said Ali Ahmadov.

YAPâ€™s Deputy Chairman said that recent killing of a little boy by the Armenian militants was an example of Armeniaâ€™s aggressive position. He said Sargsyanâ€™s government tries to distract the international communityâ€™s attention from this fact, but they can not achieve their goal: â€œAzerbaijan informed the world community that the Armenians killed an innocent child. At the same time, the co-chairs have undeniable facts about that. Therefore Sargsyan must acknowledge itâ€.
