â€œIt’s time to change the status-quo, to proceed to the return of refugees and IDPs to the occupied territories. It is their fundamental right to live on their land. For a long time the Armenian armed forces have deprived them of this right. Unfortunately, Armenia violates the progress made during the negotiations and adopted declaration. The most recent example. In Sochi the Russian President Medvedev organized a meeting, which resulted in signing the joint declaration concerning the establishment of measures of trust and intent to strive to solve all contentious issues through peaceful means. Unfortunately, three days later the Armenians killed nine-year-old boy. Nine-year-old boy is not a soldier, he is a child. In this case how can we trust the side resorting to such act of violence? In this case, the sights are civilians, particularly, ordinary child.
This suggests that the Armenian side does not respect even their own signature and declaration. This seriously reduces the level of mutual confidence being able to create a situation with unpredictable consequences. We demand from Armenians to put an end to the attacks against civilians committed with particular cruelty. As this is not the first fact and perhaps not the last one. Against civilians, particularly children, we have never committed such actsâ€, - Azerbaijani President said.
