Azerbaijani delegation to PACE to raise issue on murder of 9-year old Fariz Badalov at PACEâ€™s spring session

According to her, Azerbaijan raises this issue within the framework of all international institutions: â€œBeing the members of delegation to PACE we will raise this issue in the Council of Europe and PACE. We will bring this savagery, vandalism committed by Armenia to the members of the Council of Europe and leadership. Armeniaâ€™s this step shows their color. The murder of a child, which played in his yard, by sniper, shows the essence of the policy conducted by Armenian leadership. It shows that they are also able to kill the infant children. We also saw their savageries against infant children, vandalism acts during Khojaly genocide, during the period when they occupied our lands. Unfortunately the world community, the international organizations had not taken necessary steps for the punishment of these acts committed by Armenia and this country still continues those vandalism acts. The murder of civil persons, infant children is one of the grave crimes according to the international law, the principles and values of the Council of Europe.

Pashayeva said that they will also raise issue on Armeniaâ€™s default of obligations: â€œRaising this issue we will underline that Armenia doesnâ€™t fulfill its obligations. The obligation says that the sides must work for the peaceful settlement of the conflict, but Armenia doesnâ€™t take any steps for the peaceful settlement of the conflict and take steps killing infant childrenâ€. Armenia doesnâ€™t observe the resolutions adopted by PACE. According to these resolutions Armenia must withdraw from the occupied Azerbaijani territories, must create opportunity for refugees and IDPs to return to their homes, but Armenia not only observes the PACEâ€™s resolution, on the contrary violates ceasefire and continues its vandalism acts killing infant children. The PACE, Council of Europe must condemn the murder of 9-year old child, must bring out its negative opinion to this issue and take the measure against Armenia, put pressures. We will try to achieve the adoption of it within the framework of all organization of the Council of Europe.
