Bulent Aras: â€œIf war begins, Azerbaijan and Turkey can discuss the solution of appeared problemsâ€

According to APA, Bulent Aras told journalists that his organization and the Strategic Research Center under the President of Azerbaijan will sign an agreement during his visit. According to the agreement, Turkey and Azerbaijan will discuss the world processes interested these countries.

Aras spoke about his visit to Aghdam region of Azerbaijan on Sunday. He said he had information about the processes in Karabakh and the situation in the frontline Aghdam region. Aras reminded that two thirds of the territory of Aghdam region was occupied by the Armenians: â€œWe met the Azerbaijanis living in the unoccupied territories and see that they are hopeful to get their lands back. We met the soldiers as well and tried to give best moral support to themâ€.

Answering the question about Turkeyâ€™s possible steps in the case of military operations started by Azerbaijan for liberation of its lands from the occupation, Aras said: â€œTurkey and Azerbaijan have not signed agreement on military-strategic cooperation, but there are deals on military cooperation. Of course, no one intends for military solution of the problem. Turkeyâ€™s position is that the problem can be solved peacefully. The meeting of the Azerbaijani, Armenian and Russian presidents in Sochi is also valued as a step forward. If war begins, Azerbaijan and Turkey can discuss the solution of appeared problemsâ€.
