Azerbaijani President receives President of Romanian NIRO Investment Group Company Nicolae Dumitru

Baku â€“ APA. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by President of Romanian NIRO Investment Group Company, Nicolae Dumitru.
According to APA, President of NIRO Investment Group Company, Nicolae Dumitru, said he was delighted to have the opportunity to present â€œPresident Ilham Aliyev â€“ the Person of the Year 2010â€ Award to the President, as member of the representative delegation of â€œThe Balkans and Europeâ€ magazine. He said the President was unanimously nominated for this award by an influential board of judges, consisting of academicians, scholars, journalists and lawyers of the magazine, for the great successes achieved and highly valued in the country, despite the world financial crisis. Nicolae Dumitru expressed his confidence in continuation of the Romanian-Azerbaijani strategic partnership and friendly relations between our people, and presented the â€œPerson of the Year-2010â€ award to the President.
The President expressed his gratitude for the â€œPerson of the Year-2010â€ award and characterized this decision of â€œThe Balkans and Europeâ€ magazine as an indicator of relations between the two states. President Ilham Aliyev said the relations between Azerbaijan and Romania are developing successfully in various fields and cover a number of areas, including political, economic and humanitarian spheres. The President noted the importance of high-level mutual visits for development of bilateral relations. Mentioning that Romania is one of the closest friendly states to Azerbaijan in the world, President Ilham Aliyev also highlighted the significance of various documents, signed between the two countries, with a particular emphasis put on the Agreement on strategic partnership.
