â€œDay of Azerbaijanâ€ event held at KaposvÃ¡r University of Hungary

Baku - APA. â€œDay of Azerbaijanâ€ event was held at KaposvÃ¡r University in Hungary, press service of the Azerbaijani embassy in this country told APA. The event was held on the initiative and organization of the Embassy of Azerbaijani Republic in Hungary with the support of KaposvÃ¡r University.

Delivering speech at the event consisting of two parts, Ambassador Vilayat Guliyev welcomed the students and then gave detailed information about the history, culture, current political and economic situation of Azerbaijan. In his speech, the ambassador spoke about the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and told the audience about the events on 19th anniversary of the Khojaly tragedy to be held in the next few days.

After the event, rector of the University Ferenc SzÃ¡vai met with embassy officials, held discussions about the future plans of cooperation between KaposvÃ¡r University and the universities of Azerbaijan.
