Azerbaijani ambassador to Georgia Namig Aliyev: For Armenians access to the Black Sea means the realization of the idea of â€œGreat Armenia from sea to seaâ€

Tbilisi. Nizami Mammadzadeh â€“ APA. â€œAbkhazia is a new mono-ethnic zone created by Armenians. The question is not only Abkhazia, but also South Caucasus. A big part of the South Caucasus is divided into mono-ethnic areas. Serious attention should be paid to it,â€ Azerbaijani ambassador to Georgia Namig Aliyev told APA.

According to him, Armenia, Javakheti, Nagorno Karabakh and seven adjacent regions are mono-ethnic zones.
â€œNo one but Armenians live in these zones. 65 percent of Abkhazia is a mono-ethnic zone. Gobuleti, Batumi and other regions in Ajaria are being armenized, Armenians are settled there. This is a great threat. Taking into account that in 2009-2010 hundreds of Ajarian families moved from Ajaria to other regions of Georgia as migrants, weâ€™ll see where these processes are lead Georgians to. For Armenians access to the Black Sea means the realization of the idea of â€œGreat Armenia from sea to seaâ€. This means establishment of â€œGreat Armeniaâ€. I understand that when a state has no access to sea, it wants to establish friendship, economic, commercial, transport relations with the other states, in order to have access to the sea. But in the case of Armenia this is abnormal way, these are territorial claims, it means to establish mono-ethnic zone in that territory,â€ he said.

Ambassador said this policy is pursued through oppressing other nations.
â€œIt means to occupy these territories both through military way and migration. This is the Armenian policy. Both Azerbaijanis and Georgians should unite to prevent this policy. Otherwise, we will not be able to achieve anything. Both Azerbaijan and Georgia should openly say to Armenians that there is no place for â€œGreat Armeniaâ€ here. We can achieve something, if we say it together, otherwise it will be very difficult,â€ he said.
