Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issues obituary on Azerbaijani Ambassador to Austria Fuad Ismayilov’s death

According to APA, the obituary reads: “The diplomatic service of the Republic of Azerbaijan suffers grievous loss. Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Austria, permanent representative to UN Office in Vienna, OSCE, IAEA, ambassador to Slovenia and Slovakia Fuad Nazim Ismayilov died at the age of 43. Fuad Ismayilov was born in Baku in 1968 to the family of intellectuals. He graduated from the School of Oriental Studies of the Baku State University. He began his carrier in Assa-Irada Independent News Agency. He worked in the foreign relations department of the Presidential Administration in 1992-1995, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1998-2005. He was appointed to the post of ambassador to Austria on March 7, 2005. for his useful activity, he was decorated with the jubilee medal on 90th anniversary of the diplomatic service of the Republic of Azerbaijan (1919-2009). Fuad Ismayilov played great role in the development of bilateral relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Austria”.
