Matthew Bryza presented credentials to President Aliyev, the head of state congratulated the ambassador, wished successes in his activity. Different spheres of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and US were discussed at the meeting.
Remind that, on December 30, US President Barack Obama signed 6 appointments without ratification of the Senate by using his own authorities, as well as appointed Bryza ambassador to Azerbaijan. On January 28, oath-taking ceremony was held for ambassador at US Department of State.
