Turkish foreign minister visits Georgia

APAs Georgia Bureau reports. At the first day of the visit the Turkish delegation met with Ajarian leadership in Batumi. Then he met with hid counterpart Grigol Vashadze tÃªte-Ã -tÃªte and with the participation of the delegations. After the tÃªte-Ã -tÃªte meeting the both ministers held press a conference.

Davudoglu said that his official visit to Georgia had started from Batumi and he had discussed some important issues with the Ajarian leadership: â€œBatumi will become the most developed city in the Black sea and Eurasiaâ€. The minister said that it will be possible to cross the Turkey-Georgia borders with the identity cards: â€œI held discussion on it and the other important issues with my counterpartâ€. We have discussed the overhaul of the mosques in Georgia, and the churches in Turkeyâ€.

Then the both ministers answered the questions of the journalists.

Davudoglu will also meet with Parliamentâ€™s Chairman David Bakradze and President Mikhail Saakashvili.
