Ambassador: â€œWe will beat off the obstacles which will shade the relations between Azerbaijan and Iranâ€

Now the both countries have good relations. Those who envy us want to create conflict between us. Iran is one of the largest countries in the region and is always near Azerbaijanâ€, Iran’s ambassador to Azerbaijan Mahammadbagir Bahrami told journalists, APA reports.

The ambassador reminded Iranâ€™s joint projects with Azerbaijan in the fields of energy, economy, trade and said Iran supported the broadening of these projects: â€œThose who want to damage these projects are making mistake. We have the common history in terms of culture, religion and language. Azerbaijan hosts Iranian culture and film days. Iranian big cities such as Tehran, Tabriz and Isfahan hosted the Azerbaijani cultural days with the participation of Minister Abulfas Garayev. We will beat off any obstacle which will shade our relations. If â€œSaharâ€ TV channel said anything about Azerbaijan, some Azerbaijani TV channels also spoke against Iran. We must not turn it into the matter of discussion. The main issue on which we will work is the peaceful settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict and the return of our Azerbaijani friends to their homes. Our relations will always be good. Finally the US and Israeli regimes will be disgracedâ€, said the ambassador.
