Azerbaijani President receives Speaker of Lithuanian Seimas

Baku â€“ APA. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received the delegation led by Speaker of the Lithuanian Seimas Irena DegutienÄ—, APA reports. President Aliyev underlined the high-level economic cooperation between the two countries and noted the good perspectives in the broadening of economical relations. He noted the importance of inter-parliamentary relations and reminded that our countries have the cooperation experiences in such international organizations as the European Parliament, the Council of Europe, the OSCE and NATOâ€™s parliamentary assemblies, and said that this cooperation had become traditional.

In her turn, Speaker of the Lithuanian Seimas reminded the participation of Lithuanian companies in the Azerbaijan-Lithuania business forum which will be held in Baku and noted the importance of this event for the development of relations in many spheres. Touching on Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict, DegutienÄ— said that Lithuania supported Azerbaijanâ€™s territorial integrity.
