Lithuanian Seimas Speakerâ€™s visit program to Azerbaijan made public

The delegation will meet with President Ilham Aliyev, Speaker of the Parliament Ogtay Asadov, Prime Minister Artur Rasizadeh.
Degutiene will also visit Heydar Aliyev’s memorial at the Alley of Honor.

On February 9, Speaker of Lithuanian Seimas will attend the Azerbaijan-Lithuania business forum and meet with Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, Minister of the Economic Development Shahin Mustafayev. Degutiene will acquaint with the Heydar Aliyev Foundationâ€™s activity and visit Azerbaijan History Museum.

On February 10, the Speaker will meet with Minister of Industry and Energy Natig Aliyev, Minister of Taxes Fazil Mammadov, will visit Museum of Azerbaijan Literature and watch the concert program at the Muslim Magomayev Azerbaijan State Philharmonic Hall. The visit will finish on February 11.

Lithuanian businessmen are in the composition of the delegation. They will participate in the business forum in Baku and learn the chances of investment to Azerbaijan. The Seimasâ€™ public affairs department says that the speaker is sure that this visit will contribute to the development of Lithuanian business: â€œThe high level meeting of Lithuanian and Azerbaijan politicians is not only a great chance to strengthen bilateral relations, but also to widely open the doors for the Lithuanian business. We also hope that the Azerbaijani businessmen will show interest in projects carried out in Lithuania in the different spheres as well as the energy sectorâ€.
