Baku-APA. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of congratulation to President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka Mahinda Rajapaksa on the country`s national holiday, the Independence Day, APA reports quoting AzerTAj.
“I hope development of friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Sri Lanka will open up new opportunities for boosting cooperationâ€, the President said in the letter.
President Ilham Aliyev wished Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa robust health, successes in his activities and the friendly people of Sri Lanka peace and prosperity.
