Eight people die in Cairo riots last two days

Baku â€“ APA. Five people were killed during the clashes between supporters of President Hosni Mubarak and anti-government protesters in Cairo early morning on Thursday and three were killed in afternoon on February 2. Hundreds of people were injured, APA reports quoting the worldâ€™s news agencies. Witnesses said Mubarakâ€™s supporters opened fire on the protesters. "What we see before us has never happened before. Clashes between Egyptian, it is a civil war," said Mohamed Sayed Mostafa, 26. More than 300 people have been killed during the anti-government protests since January 25.

The government of Egypt expressed official protest against the international communityâ€™s appeals. Spokesperson for the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Hussam Zaki said such appeals only inflame the internal situation in the country. â€œIt is regrettable to see how the US, Britain, French and even Turkey interfere in the processes in Egypt. Let these countries to solve own problemsâ€, said Zaki.
