Baku – APA. Head of the University of Georgia (Tbilisi) Giuli Alasania met with the Rector of the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy (ADA), Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Hafiz Pashayev in Baku. The rector informed Ms. Alasania about the Academy’s Master and Bachelor of Arts programs, its library and research works, which cover different fields.
According to Professor Alasania, the university she heads is interested in cooperation with ADA. Ms. Alasania made report on the “Historic-cultural relations between Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey†for the professors and students of ADA, and other guests. She spoke about the rich historic-cultural relations of the three peoples.
Professor Alasania is mother of Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili.
