Baku. Lachin Sultanova – APA. Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed the citizens of Israel about the new rules of procedure of granting visas to foreigners and stateless persons in Azerbaijan.
The ministry informed the Israeli citizens that Azerbaijan canceled granting visas to foreigners at the Baku airport, Israeli embassy in Azerbaijan told APA. If any Israeli citizen arrives in Baku without visa, he/she will be forced to return back. Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommended to the Israeli citizens to apply consular departments of the Azerbaijani embassies in other countries for visa because there is no Azerbaijani embassy in Israel.
The Azerbaijani embassy in Jordan is the closest once to Israel.
The new rules have been implemented since October 15.
