ICRC denies Dashnaksutyun leaderâ€™s statements made in Azerbaijan

Spokesperson of the ICRC Office in Baku Ilaha Huseynova told APA that Armenian government confirmed that bodies of two Azerbaijani servicemen are in Armenia. She said Armenian side has not addressed ICRC on this issue yet.

Head of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (Dahsnaksutyun) political office and Ay-Dat (Armenian issue) central office Kiro Manoyan told journalists in Baku that Azerbaijani officer killed in the battles for Karabakh, National Hero Mubariz Ibrahimovâ€™s body is in a neutral area. â€œArmenian sideâ€™s position is that the body is in â€œno oneâ€™s zoneâ€. The body is not on Karabakh side and is in a neutral zone and Azerbaijan can come and pick upâ€, said Manoyan.

Manoyan said security of this process was a responsibility of the International Committee of the Red Cross. â€œThe ICRC tries to resolve this issue. Concretely they donâ€™t fulfill their functions. I think ICRC failed that missionâ€.

Manoyan and bureau member of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation Mario Nalbandian attended the Socialist International regional conference on CIS, Caucasus and Black Sea in Baku.
